Aug 9 - 2 Hobbies seen as flybys in the last week, 1 near Purton and 1 at Cirencester, both flying purposefully and presumably hunting hirundines to feed their young. Also 2 Ravens over the A419 by the Spine Road, and a Tawny Owl calling loudly outside the window at night. Several Swifts seen at Cirencester on 7th, and 1 at Haselmere, Surrey, on 8th....maybe the last ?
