White-throated Robin at Hartlepool - first long-stayer for UK

10 June - I finally got to see this spring mega on the fifth day of its stay....initially excellent views in the "Doctors Garden" over the high wall, scene of the frenetic events on the first day. Fortunately, someone had brought a ladder....it then moved to the bowling green and fed at close range. An elegant medium-sized chat, slender with longish tail, decurved bill, rufous flanks and pale throat. The bird of the spring! All photos JM.
