Arctic visitors.....
I'd love to have seen these superb juvenile Ivory Gulls, found in Northumberland yesterday, presumably displaced by the strong northerlies in last week's storm, and had apparently moved on by this morning. True Arctic birds, I've been fortunate to see a juvenile in the UK, also a smart adult in Spitsbergen in summer. These photos taken by the finder, and copyright, Beadnell Birder.
