Smew are back!

6 Dec - The first Smew this winter were reported in CWP a few days ago, in the usual area of pits 29/30, and 2 were on pit 30 this morning in the winter sunlight. They were resting and preening frequently, almost as if they had recently completed their long flight from Russia.....photos (with 7D again )JM.
