Winter Thrushes

10 Jan - An amazing mixed flock of 300+ Redwings (1-3) and Fieldfares (4-6) close to the road at Purton, by the recycling centre - surprising for two reasons, firstly I had my camera in the car, and secondly, being normally very wary, they didn't fly off immediately I stopped the engine! I never tire of looking at these beautiful thrushes.
