7 Mar - Sunny and fine at last - the drake Smew (1) and the imm drake Red-breasted Merganser both still present on pit 30. The highlight of a quick trip to Shorncote was a Peregrine that appeared briefly. Teal and Song Thrush posed for the camera (2,3). Photos JM.
