A week of Warblers.........

19 April - I finally managed a record shot of the "patch" Grasshopper Warbler this morning (thanks to the sharp eyes of Mike King aka Gloster birder) so here are 6 CWP Warbler photographed this week.......Blackcap (1,2), Garden Warbler (3), Willow Warbler (4), Whitethroat (5), Sedge Warbler (6,7) and Grasshopper Warbler (8).......it's been a fantastic week of weather, at my favourite time of year, with migrants flooding in and spring advancing almost daily. Cuckoos and Nightingales also arrived this week.......

........and the Ringed Plover (9) was at Shorncote this afternoon, not popular with the resident LRPs - also there 2 Yellow Wagtails.
