More CWP spring
18 April - Over 70 species seen/heard in CWP this morning, including all 10 Warblers, in superb weather. Highlights included my first Red Kite (12,13) for Shorncote (9,10), 2 Common Sandpipers, a Green Sandpiper, Redshank and Oystercatcher, 5 LRPs (14-16), 2 Yellow Wagtails, as well as Cuckoo and Nightingale. Reed and Sedge (1) Warblers are now filling the reedbeds with sound. Curlews displaying at Blakehill, also 3 Wheatears there (20). A nice display of Cowslips at Blakehill (19).
